Holistic Mindful Meditation, Yoga Teacher & Creator

Welcome, I’m Cristina

My journey into holistic living began with a deep interest in seeking creative and insightful ways to bring peace and balance into my life and people’s lives. This led me to my first yoga class over 25 years ago- I was a child, and the experience opened up a world of serenity for me. I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training with the man who taught my first class.

Years ago, close family members became ill, with complex illnesses. This drove my resounding passion to help support and nourish them through mindful practices and holistic functional nutrition. I relied on my practices to help guide me when I became ill on and off for years. My case was unusual, and it took time to find the root cause. With patience and a mindful approach, I discovered that healing could only begin once my nervous system was balanced and regulated.

I wholeheartedly believe in creating heart-awakening experiences with the utmost love, care, and nourishment for the nervous system, where the mind and body will connect deeply and rest in balance.

Through all of life’s joys, blessings, and pain, I am deeply grateful for my journey and for being here to inspire and gently guide as many people as possible.

I look forward to the humbling opportunity to journey with you through a calming and transformative experience on my YouTube Channel, “Holistic Yoga with Cristina”.

My background

I graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from CalArts (+ yoga), and studied language at FUA, while living and working in Florence, Italy. I have a deep affinity and background in the performing arts, fine arts, singing, culinary arts, special events, and mindful, slow-living practices.

I received my 200-hour yoga teaching certification, as well as a specialty certification in Yin Yoga and anatomy, from YogaWorks. While studying meditation and mindfulness at Insight LA, Esalen Institute, and various workshops, I was honored to train with renowned teachers in yoga, somatics, mindfulness, meditation, and energy healing.

While working as a special projects manager and studying psychology at SMC, I often guided meditations for the staff. This created a sense of calmness, compassion, clarity, and productivity throughout the shifts. Years later, I stepped away from work to embrace my calling to guide, comfort, and help people discover balance and calmness through mindfulness practices. Guiding mindfulness experiences full-time has brought me a deep sense of peace and joy!

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking for friends and family, hiking and exploring nature’s beauty, painting, and traveling.
